Some of these complaints are too ridiculous to take seriously. Hey why does Raven like ponies now, I&#39;m never watching this crap again. I cannot believe the writers would take such liberties with the TV viewing habits of a comic book character on a TV show. It&#39;s like there are two different TV shows with different versions of the same characters, each more appropriate for the style of that show. What if they made a Batman movie that didn&#39;t look like the original show with the POW! and BLAM! graphics or comical sound effects, like anyone would watch that.<br/><br/>I am a TT fan and find this show to be is hysterically funny. The style of comedy is very unique, it&#39;s kind of a mix of smart/dumb humor with clever sight gags and a lot of other stuff. Robin is sort of an idiot but he tries super hard and all of his failed attempts at effective leadership are funny. Starfire says amusing things all the time because she cannot speak the colloquial English even though her vocabulary and pronunciation are flawless. Raven is still dark but has more personality now and ridiculously effective superpowers that she uses to avoid doing anything, Cyborg gets irrationally excited about everything and Beast Boy is basically the samebefore but says funnier stuff. First it is clear that all of the people here dislike it because it is different that what they recall from the first series. I never watched the first series so I cannot comment on the difference but I would go ahead and ignore the vast majority of the 1 stars unless you have a bias towards the first and want to re-affirm your own opinion. <br/><br/>Additionally if you don&#39;t like or struggle to understand satire, move along, you will likely be upset about things that simply flew right over your head. <br/><br/>I started watching this with my daughter a while back and was caught off guard by how funny this show can be. The satirical, sarcastic, occasionally dark humor keeps me laughing and wanting to watch the next episode. This is hands down the best cartoon we have watched together and have had endless joking after a particularly good one.<br/><br/>Finally B.E.R. is phenomenal and their appearances throughout the series are awesome.
